Network Design

- complete solution designs; building the design from a high level concept, through to a detailed design document with device configuration templates and a Bill of Materials
Previous experience in the area of network and solution design includes
- with peer, Tony Budge of commIT Consulting designed and successfully tested one of the first true multi-customer voice over IP (VoIP) over Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) solutions. This design not only had to facilitate any-to-any customer VoIP communications, but also ensure that the inherent customer security provided with MPLS VPN's was maintained
- conducted a routing protocol and IP addressing schema review of Telstra's Big Pond Home network (Australia's largest ISP) and outlined various methods by which the existing design could be streamlined and restructured to adhere to 'best practice' industry design methodologies
